Our Story
Knitty Gritty Shop is a local brick and mortar store owned by a mother and daughter. They have always been creative with arts and crafts. Their dream was to open a business together one day, either selling at festivals or having a store front. The opportunity to own a yarn shop came to them in 2017 and they could not pass this up. At the time, one of them lived in Florida and the other in Wisconsin. After long consideration, they thought small town Wisconsin would be the perfect place for the yarn shop.
After having a business for a few years, they started to expand their creativity. They started hand dyeing their own yarn, making project bags and creating their own stitch markers.
They love teaching classes and look forward meeting new people everyday!!
